How to Plan Your Month Like a Beauty CEO (Even If You’re Just Starting Out)
May 30, 2025
Another month down — and a new one just around the corner.
If you’re anything like me, you probably started the year full of motivation and big plans… but now that we’re halfway through, things might feel a bit messy, rushed, or overwhelming.
That’s why I want to show you how to plan your month like a beauty CEO — even if you’re still just getting started.
Because structure, clarity and intention are the things that separate beauty business owners who feel in control from those who are stuck constantly playing catch-up.
And the best part? It doesn’t need to be complicated.
1. Reflect Before You Reset
Before you rush into new goals — pause.
Ask yourself:
- What actually worked last month?
- What didn’t?
- What felt aligned… and what felt like a drain?
If you’re growing your beauty business, it’s easy to think you have to be everywhere, doing everything — but more doesn’t always mean better. When you reflect, you learn what to repeat and what to leave behind.
2. Choose One Clear Focus for the Month
Let’s simplify things.
Instead of a massive to-do list, choose one main focus for the next 4 weeks.
For example:
- Get 5 new clients
- Post consistently 3x a week
- Launch a new treatment
- Create content in advance
- Improve your lash sets
When your focus is clear, your actions become more powerful.
3. Break It Down into Weekly Goals
Once you’ve set your focus, break it into weekly goals. This keeps things manageable and stops the overwhelm.
Example:
If your goal is to book 5 new clients, your weekly goals might look like:
- Week 1: Optimise your IG bio & highlights
- Week 2: Share 3 client transformations + a promotion
- Week 3: Post a Reel every other day
- Week 4: Share client reviews and availability daily on Stories
See how simple it becomes when you break it down?
4. Schedule in Time to Work on Your Business
If you’re a beauty pro, you’re probably busy working in your business — doing treatments, replying to clients, posting when you can.
But CEOs make time to work on their business too.
This means setting aside time every week for things like:
- Content creation
- Strategy
- Planning offers
- Learning new skills
Even 1 hour a week can shift everything.
5. Use Tools That Actually Move the Needle in Your Business
It’s one thing to set goals — it’s another to have the tools that help you take action on them.
